Désir  

A sensual eruption of textures and colors, Désir captures the tender tensions between longing and becoming. Through flushed pinks, gilded warmth, and layered strokes, the canvas pulses with emotional and physical intensity. Desire is not portrayed as a chase but as a state of blooming, emerging not through pursuit but through presence.

The work draws inspiration from coral reefs, living organisms that bloom and breathe in silence beneath the sea. Like human emotions, they are both fragile and resilient, thriving only in balance. Each brushstroke mirrors the reef’s sensitivity to light, warmth, and care, becoming an allegory for the conditions under which desire itself can flourish.

Désir reflects on presence as an act of awakening. Desire becomes a living bloom, a state of awareness, protection, and coexistence between vulnerability and vitality.
