Amazonia
within endless greens
what disappears still remains
life begins again
How Lau
Amazonia explores the hidden intelligence of living systems through accumulation, erosion, and renewal. A seemingly continuous field of green unfolds into a complex terrain of layered pigment, fractured surfaces, buried color, and traces of what came before.
Rather than depicting the natural world, the painting echoes its processes. Matter gathers, competes, dissolves, and reemerges, creating an environment that feels simultaneously biological, geological, and psychological. Fleeting fragments of color surface through the dominant green like remnants of previous states, suggesting that transformation never fully erases its history.
Amazonia considers nature not as landscape, but as an interconnected system in constant transformation, where beneath apparent unity lies an intricate architecture of memory, adaptation, and life.
